i just reached home, after finishing match point by woody allen. there is this wife of protagonist. she…… . she is eager to be a mother, want children that too 3 of them. she is a monotone, don’t want to disappoint anyone. she don’t have any interest to go beyond or under what life or her birth provided her. the way she looks, at least to me did’t inspire any adventure. family oriented she is.
From what ever they showed in the movie, this is what i understood.
after thinking about it for a while, made me realize that this are the women i avoided all my life, will continue to do so.
it not particularly about who she is, there is something terrifying about a women, who obsessed over having a stable family, children and happy lived ever after attributes.
It not necessarily inhuman to expecting above, they are so eager to get old and avoid all the problems. The other partner is a variable, if not you someone else, as long as they provide necessary. i dont think it about motherly instincts or anything. as this go with both men and women.
i wonder why…..
